Karla Black is an artist based in Glasgow.
What artworks would you have/do you have in your drawing room?
I have a painting by Hayley Tompkins, a print by Tony Swain, a print by Bet Low and lots of paintings, drawings and sculptures by my 5 year-old daughter.
What books would you read/are you reading in your drawing room?
I am reading Transit by Rachel Cusk and Reality Is Not What It Seems, the journey to Quantum Gravity by Carlo Rovelli.
What movies would you watch/are you watching in your drawing room?
I am mostly watching Reality TV- The Real Housewives Franchise, at the moment The Real Housewives of Potomac, as well as Southern Charm, The Hills: New Beginnings and Flip It Like Disick, plus Kimora Lee Simmons: Life In The Fab Lane.
What music would you listen to/are you listening to in your drawing room?
I am listening to Sacred Paws and Big Thief.
Who would you/do you invite into your drawing room?
Mostly I am in my drawing room with my daughter Wanda Swain and her daddy Tony Swain. I also look forward to occasional visits from my best friends Andrew Kerr, Hayley Tompkins, Cathy Wilkes, Jennifer Deal and my brothers and their wives.
