What artworks would you have/do you have in your drawing room?
A concrete work by Siri Derkert, Official Welcome by Andrea Fraser (video), the fabric work Fiskbullar i hummersås by Marie - Louise Ekman. I love a lot of paintings, but always thought Gustave Courbet´s ”Le cerf à l'eau, chasse à courre, ou Le Cerf forcé” would be a fun choice together with a Torsten Andersson and a painting by Matisse preferably the one with a bowl of goldfish on a table. A wall drawing by Louise Lawler and a sculpture from Cosima von Bonin, but now this room in getting very large, I think this could be a good app or video game, where you can place your friends works in the mix.
What books would you read/are you reading in your drawing room?
Right now, Virginia Woolf, Barbara Pym and Jo Baer's collected writings. Kerstin Ekman novel ”Blackwater” is one of my all time favourites, but I don’t know how the translation reads.
What movies would you watch/are you watching in your drawing room?
Whit Stillman's movies and action like ”Shoot ’Em Up” and ”Escape from LA”.
What music would you listen to/are you listening to in your drawing room?
Silence is golden! I do however listen to a lot of swedish radio and the music that comes with it. My favourite program is called Stil or Style in english. They do interviews and talk about history related to fashion, but with a very open and broad idea what that can include.
Who would you/do you invite into your drawing room?
I would love to read comic books with Giotto di Bondone.
